ADRIANA YAN
ABOUT ME
My passion for art began to grow during my high school years, and it was further nurtured by my art teacher, who has been a constant source of encouragement in my career. My interest in animation was sparked by my love for anime, and it eventually led me to pursue a diploma in animation at Algonquin College, which I completed in April 2023.

During my final semester at Algonquin, I had the opportunity to intern at Mercury Filmworks, where I was animating scenes for season 2 of The Ghost and Molly McGee. It helped me deepened my knowledge of Harmony and enhanced my animation skills.

After graduation, I worked at Atomic Cartoons as an animation retakes artist for the show Mermicorno. This exciting experience has strengthen my problem solving skills and improved my attention to detail.

Aside from animation, I enjoy painting portraits and experimenting with various art mediums, such as felt and air-dry clay. I also design and lead spaces for young people to create art and have meaningful conversations. In my free time, I like to host game nights for my friends, where we play card games like Nertz and 5 Minute Dungeon.
