ABOUT ME

Adriana Yan_edited.jpg

My passion for art began to grow during my high school years, and it was further nurtured by my art teacher, who has been a constant source of encouragement ever since. My interest in animation was sparked by my love for anime, and it eventually led me to pursue a diploma in animation at Algonquin College, which I completed in April 2023.

During my final semester at Algonquin, I had the opportunity to intern at Mercury Filmworks, where I was involved in the production of season 2 of The Ghost and Molly McGee, a Disney show. It was an incredibly exciting and valuable experience for me.

Aside from animation, I also enjoy painting portraits and experimenting with various art mediums, such as felt and air-dry clay. In my free time, I like to host game nights for my friends, where we play card games like Nerts and 5 Minute Dungeon. I also volunteer in my faith community by designing and leading spaces for young people, where we can create art and have meaningful conversations.
